The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are now open and may close on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house having a combined gross domestic income that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined family money isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and want not submit any evidence of earnings.

*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
